Bromeliads with Cate
There are so many different types of bromeliads and so many reasons to grow them. Back by popular demand…Join our own Cate Peterson for an informative session on how you can add these plants, that are perfectly suited to our region, to your own garden. See the Garden’s large collection of bromeliads and take one home to grow in your garden!
There is a $10 materials fee for the class- Members only pay the material fee and non-members can attend by paying the admission ticket also. There is an option to purchase more plants during the class. Pay at the admission booth when you arrive.
Class size is limited to 10 participants per class. Reservations are recommended ( Her classes sell out!), but you can join that day if there is space!

Cate Peterson is a former Master Gardener. She is a past president of the Caloosahatchee Bromeliad Society and member since 2010. She developed an interest in bromeliads when her pool boy (husband) complained about leaves and flowers falling into the pool from the potted plants. She found that bromeliads to not drop flowers or leaves and have thousands of choices. She has served on the gardens board and volunteers at the Peace River Botanical & Sculpture Gardens. She loves to share her passion for bromeliads.
