Peace River Botanical Gardens took direct hit from the eye of Hurricane Ian. The early estimates of damage a totals nearly $450,000, much of which is not covered by insurance. With a $94,000 deductible and a policy that does not cover replacement of plants and trees, we are in need of additional support to make it through the aftermath of this storm. This message is an urgent plea for those members and supporters that hold the Gardens dear to their hearts, have a deep appreciation for the conservation we embody, and value the art and educational programs that our nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization offers to step forward and assist us in our rebuilding and recovery efforts.
