Botanicals in the Garden

We integrate Florida’s natural landscape with more than 4500 plants, trees, and bamboos to become one of the largest botanical and sculpture gardens in the State. Rather than random installations, our Gardens are unique in their design. Most of our plants are grouped into “rooms” where you can view a variety of species within one family of plants easily making note of their distinguishing features and unique traits. Come for a visit and you can explore a bromeliad garden, cactus room, hibiscus area, cycad station, and so much more! Stimulate your senses in our beautiful indoor and outdoor butterfly garden and tantalizing sensory garden. Enjoy a shady walk down our mangrove paths to the Peace River or cross the bridge to our island for a picturesque view of the wetlands around Hunter’s Creek. Our collections are always growing so there is more to see each and every time you visit!
