Dominic Benhuira began sculpting at the age of ten and sold his first work at twelve. He is credited for being on the cutting edge of Shona Sculpture and known worldwide for his “daring and bold” creations as he strives to capture balance and movement both physically and emotionally in his work period inspired by nature and his family the family dynamic especially the joy expressed by children is a theme found most often throughout his work.
